    The way I look at it now - take the speedline wheels. No refurb can match that original look / colour they left the factory in. No matter what people say - I've never seen a refub come close to a original. End of conversation!

    As daz says, no point having original paint attached to a rusty shell. That's not idea. Restored cars have there own merits and disadvantages (The profile of the rear arch is a good starting point) original non painted numbers matching cars that have escaped the ravished of time more so! And the value is adjusted accordingly!

    Take the 13,000 Williams 3 - I would be suprised of that's been painted. It would devalue it for me!

    depends what you want from the car, and what your plans are for the car. if its just going to be garaged, then obviously you pay for the best out there...if its a restore project....any shed will do ;)
