fitting new gear knob and gaiter and
found this red connector and other connector under the gearstick gaiter and its not plugged into anything?? anyone know what its for?

Looks similar to a window switch plug for the rear window I have on my megane coupe. Was there an option for electric rear windows?

You should have replaced the awfull rubber ball joint housing for a fixed alloy one instead of gear knob.

wich rear windows you want to open ? Clio doesnt have rear windows that go down.

I had this in one of mine aswell, cant remember which as ive had centre consol off of the 1 and 2

probably part of the autobox loom, as they had different connections by the gear stick, my williams 2 also had that connector

as above, think its auto related, all my clios have had it, just part of standard generic interior loom

I have similar on my megane for the rear windows. I asked does a clio have an option for rear electric windows? It may have something to do with that
