I purchased this recenty, I bought it to swap some bits over onto my own Williams and then to put away to slowly restore, but circumstances have changed so it must be sold, which I am gutted about, as I wanted to restore this one, then restore my own
Basics:
Clio Williams 2
Showing 78,000 miles
2 months MOT
Tax until the end of this month
Part service history - lots of receipts for servicing and modifications/upkeep
Modifications:
Magnex exhaust
lowering springs
I have only covered about 100 miles or so in it, but so far it seems a nice car, the engine has no rattles or funny noises, and pulls very well, and according to the receipts I have it has a new gearbox in 2005 and a receipt for a clutch in 2009.
Bodywork is good - a little rust on one rear arch (see pics) and it has a few small patches of surface rust on one sill, but nothing bad.
The car does have some bad points the worst being:
The Magnex is blowing, but it is blowing either side of the cat, so im sure 2 new gaskets will stop that.
It has had an aftermarket sunroof put in, and being honest, whoever did it made a right hash of it.
IT has a few age related marks, worst being a knock on the n/s panel.
I think the colomn needs the usual welding doing.
Please drop me a PM if you would like to know any more information
