New engine thoughts

don't get me wrong, its a quick engine, my 172 in stock trim is faster than any stock F7 series I've driven

I just don't like the delivery from it, you really have to wring its neck, and to further cam it surely that'll pull the power even further up the range?

gearbox makes the difference, not the engine

I'd say roughly around £400-500 in parts plus maybe another £200 odd if you get a new genuine oil pump with labour on top of that and that's for standard parts
