Chris nobody in their right mind would want to use these filters! got an OE one back in there and it's back to normal thank god.

Let me just give a final piece of advice to anyone who doesnt already know about RB especially any bum chums hanging around. He has and will always be lethal poison to everything MK1 clio related.

Ive been using these filters for years fab - never had a problem.

So explain to me how come the pressure drops on deceleration to below 1 on the gauge after fitting one?
And before anyone says it's the sender well thats total cock. My car has never had an issue with oil pressure or reading before fitting this filter. We checked the wiring this eve on the sender and gave it a wiggle and the gauge did not budge.
The car was running perfect before taking out the OE one.

Can I buy the rest of the filters from you now they are fit for the bin

Northy your not being helpful. I went out of my way to get these filters and not one person has come back with a constructive comment.
Is that what this forum has descended into? A bunch of self obsessed individuals?
I'm extremely worried that some damage has come to the car. Is it possible too much oil pressure can damage internal components/seals?

Ive used these for years fab in my cup car. No problems.

So what filter have you got fitted now?

What oil grade are you using??

Did you keep the original fitter before swapping onto the champion???

If you did can you Cut both filters open and compare the internals.

Fab i put up my experience of them up earlier in te thread. Mine holds more pressure than with a renault one, and with hot oil, the idle is arount 1bar on the gauge, where it waszeo with he renault one. maybe you just a dodgy one, which can happen. But im over the moon with mine. Thanks. Again.

Mine are sat on a shelf in the garage because I don't currently have the engine in the car. It may be a few months before it goes back in. I'll post up my experiences at that time. I can't do it before for obvious reasons...
