    Alloy Wheel Refurbishment

    Hi ya,

Im looking to have my alloys refurbished back to standard, as they are currently the wrong colour gold and look naff.

Can anyone recommend some decent companies? Im based in Bedfordshire.

Im getting quite high quotes. £108 per alloy including VAT. Surely I can get them done cheaper than that?

    Thanks

Too far from you but just to give you an idea, I got quoted £65 per wheel which includes diamond cutting and sprayed the correct Williams colour.

That was SEM in Sunderland who have an excellent reputation

You are so close to Pristine, I would pay the extra pennies and get them done properly. Just had mine refurbed as the previous refurb they didn't cut the diamond lip and the wheels were heavily corroded underneath - The previous guy clearly just stripped the paint and painted over the corrosion.

This time I had the entire wheel face diamond cut to remove all of the corrosion, acid-dipped, painted, new diamond lip cut and the whole wheel laquered.... They look the tits! And I like them (wheels that is!)

Renowheel in Bridgend (south wales) did an an awesome job on my VW GTI wheels, my mates Land Rover wheels and another mates Motorbike wheels. Better than new - it almost seemed a shame to put them on the car!

I paid £75 per wheel, but they were pretty bad as (ahem) 'someone' hit the central reservation on the motorway going 'quite' quickly.
