Exhaust downpipe catching the subframe

Has anyone had to solve this problem before and if so what did you do, i was thinking of putting a make do bracket on the bend just in front of the fuel tank any ideas welcome,its a valver not a willy by the way.

Check/replace your engine mounts, the downpipe should not sit like that.

I would look to replace the dogbone mount, and get a Williams gearbox lower bar fitted too.

You can also shuffle the engine forwards a bit by adjusting the main engine mount seating position.
