its strictly says do not bleed with it running in the members guides section? im presuming you run it upto temp once you have bled it via the bleed screw, then run it with the cap off to purge the rest as per matt brown?

if you bleed it without it running it wont be under pressure, which means the air wont be forced out, thats my understanding anyway

ive always bled my cars running. holding the expansion tankk up really high, opening the bleed screw, whilst getting a mate to blow into the tank. works a treat
