    Copper brake lines

    Evening all!

Getting some new brake lines made up with new unions.. Just for anyone else's info, called reno and these are not supplied. They do however supply copper lines in roll's.

Anyways, do you think it would be ok to paint the lines or should I leave them as is?

No, leave them as is. The green painted OE ones are not copper. You can buy the roll stuff from any motor factors, Ebay, etc.

the copper pipes arent copper either ;)

the plastic coating on the oe lines is only there for protection purposes. a good coat of grease will help the longevity of the new lines.
