Williams2 with tax + mot = £1000

The basics: 1995 M Clio Williams2, 5 previous owners, tax + mot to april 2012. The last 2 owners were brothers, the first one got the car March 2003 and then gave it to his brother in September 2009, somewhere between then the service book was lost. There is some receipts for work dating back til 03 tho, including things like springs, calipers, timing belt, brake lines etc.

Since iv had the car (Dec 2011) I gave it a full service incl Bosch oil and fuel filters, NGK plugs, Mobil1 oil, Coolant flushed and changed. Iv also fitted a re-con alternator and a new Conti belt. New drivers side front indicator and passenger side mirror glass. New Exide premium battery. 2x new track rod-ends. Welded steering column.

As u can guess from the price it does have some problems, mostly bodywork. It drives well, straight and quick, the only sort of mechanical problem is the speedo cable, it works ok but the speedo 'bounces' a wee bit below 35mph. I bought the little gearbox speedo shaft from renault but that hasnt fixed it so i guess the speedo cable is slightly past its best.

Anyway the pictures speak for them self, there is rust at the back arches (sills and floor are very good though), wheels need refurb, OS wing is cracked (new one included with car but requires paint), there is damage round the lock of the passenger door, and a mark on the tailgate, and a few other small dinks here and there. Good for a track car, or restoration. Would hate to break it for spares because if u see past the visual, its a good car.

Im asking 1k, no offers, not taking a penny less.

Forgot to mention its been lowered (Just springs as far as i can tell, not sure on the make (they're yellow tho?)), Hill Power induction kit, Stainless steel cat-back exhaust (again not sure which make), Kenwood CD player, Alpine speakers front and rear.
