    Cam belt kit and clutch

    Right folks, where would be the cheapest for a cam belt and oe clutch. Been a while since I've bought other.

    dont buy a cheap cam belt..lol

    buy a gates item..

    doesnt matter if oem

    clutch a would buy a decent sachs branded item.

    Cam belt is a really low tech piece of rubber with wire in it. Just get any but fit it right and make sure it isnt damaged when fitted.

    LOL, I really dont agree with that at all, the belt is under a massive amount of strain and I personally want to know its a well made one thats not going to break up prematurely, they are enough of a ballache to fit really to be worth spending literally half a tank of fuel extras worth on a decent one.

    Every F7 belt kit I've seen so far comes with INA tensioner and idler, so identical to genuine. There are only a handful of comapanies that make cambelts, which are then rebranded and sold as lots of different things.

    I would happily use Contitech (continental), SKF, Gates, FAI, QH, INA. They're all identical in my experience.

    If you're lucky, you'll get a Renault boxed kit from GSF for half the price of a dealership.
