Good builds. I'm not sure that I have enough blue pieces to make an attempt - and I've just got a Christmas present that I need to finish building first!

Here is some (not all!!) of my collection of Lego Technic dating back to 1977....

There is more but not that I could get decent pics of.

Must go, got the latest Unimog to be getting on with, keeps me occupied over Xmas anyway

Wow! You've got a very nice collection there!

I always wanted one of these:

    1989 Lego Backhoe Grader

It's one of the wishes that did not come true when I was a kid. I could buy one now, but I'm not sure if that's a good idea. Some dreams should be left where they belong. In the past.

I thought some of you might be interested in the car-related set I just got given to me as a belated birthday present... Box is very nice with a lift off lid:

Very nicely organised inside with boxes for each stage of the build process and a huge instruction manual:

The final built model is huge - nearly two foot in length:

It apparently has a working flappy-paddle PDK gearbox although I have not really had a good look at that yet. The engine looked pretty good when built as a component, but just like the real car, it looks about as interesting as a washing machine once you install it in the car and look at it through the open boot!

31 here and still love Lego, just no excuse to build at the moment :( What's more impressive is that your 8-year old girl likes your Williams - you've taught her well :D
