    HIDS?

I know a lot of people dont like them, think they're tacky, chavvy, blinding, mot fail next year etc. etc. etc. I dont want the stupid blue ones i am just interested in upgrading my lights as I do a fair bit of driving at night and tbh the standard headlights arent great.

So, who has fitted them? Good results? Recommended kits?

ive got a set on the willy 1 and willy 3 hi/lo beam 8000K. had them fitted for years on the willy 3 with no probs whatsoever. i made the mistake of buying a cheap set £37.99 from ebay(for the willy 1 the other week)which use the battery to power them(fookin awful! wires to short and just tacky) so paid the extra £70 a got a decent set that just plug and play directly into the 3 pin H4 connector.

Big thumbs up for hids. Won't be without them now. Should be industry standard IMO. Aslong as they're correctly adjusted I think they're fine. From January 1st 2012 they will fail and MOT unless fitted with lamp washers and self levellers. As a tester I'll remove them for test then put them back on.
