Carbon fibre bonnet - i really need one!

Some say You can fix anything with gaffer tape and/or WD40....
It is certainly true to some extend.



I have been searching for a long time for a single skin carbon fibre bonnet - with no success :(
To prove how badly i need to have a carbon fibre bonnet in my life this is what happened today. To my excuse it happened under the influence of too much sugar!

My mate got sick and tired of me talking about carbon fibre bonnets all the time. As you may know - the above flow chart has been circulating the web for a long time. Inspired from this and the sugar overdose we created a wannabe carbon fibre/gaffer tape bonnet for The Orange!

Our excuse - the sugar overdose!


And the creative stuff... Please note the flow optimized throttle body induction bonnet "cut out" design and the Aerocatch bonnet/tape securing things....













....and now i hear you say - what about the WD40....
Well - HQ gaffer tape sticks like nothing else. WD40 is actually great for removing gaffer tape glue residue from surfaces.... (the glue was everywhere!)

Gaffer tape and WD40 put to good use...
Now please help me find me a CARBON FIBRE BONNET! :D

there was one on pistonheads a while back but the clear coat had faded badly i didnt want to buy it then find it couldnt be fixed.
