    fog lights not working?

right ive fitted everything back together and put my brand new fog lights in and plugged back in to the loom. but there not working at all? ive changed the fuse, and tried my relay from the willy 3 but nowt? also switched them on and tested for a live with a multimeter but dead? traced back wires and cant see any fault? only thing im thinking now is could it be the fog light switch itself? anyone else ever had any problems like this? will swap the switch over from the willy 3 and try that next

There is a join/plug in the wiring behind the fogs, bottom of the bumper that iirc, you can access from the black plastic filler/air deflector piece underneath, which can get corroded every couple of years. Need to open and close it a few times spray WD etc. Might be that? Or is it all new wiring as well.

    right so far.

ive tired a working FUSE,RELAY AND SWITCH from my williams 3 and also tested for power using my meter and nothing? so its got to be a break in the wire somewhere??? or could it be an earthing problem??

Where is there no power? To the switch? From the switch to the relay? To the live side of the relay? from the relay to the lights? Do you need side or dip beam on before they will work, cant remember? (as said previously does the dash warning light come on? does the relay click?)

As long as you have at least your sidelights on, they should work

as said above, ive tried the switch, relay and fuse from the williams 3 (my fogs work 100% in that, in the williams 1.

the foglight warning lamp on the dash illuminates, and ive checked for power at the switch, which is there? also used my meter to check for voltage at the foglights themselves and nothing?
