Do you accrue/need no claims bonus for the car? What have you agreed the value at? If you don't mind me asking.

i think if u have your car on a classic policey then u dont get no claims bouns. think with mine they took into account how long ive been driving for on my pickup, like 9+ years. yes mines valued at £2000 at the mo but will be more next year when i have all the bodywork done, and thats with the air filter and exhurst.

yeah im on classic policy with peter best. and they dont take your no claims into account. so if after 2 years your not using your no claims bonus on a policy then you lose them. so ive got a seperate policy for the cabriolet(which i use my no claims on) and classic policy for the willy 3. altogether combined a month i pay £28. oh and both of the cars are limited to 6K a year.

No, you don't acrue any NCB so if you have had any previously you will loose them after 2 or 3 years I think. Mine's agreed at £6k.

Cool - well I'll still have the Trophy which will be my 'main' car for general driving and the Williams for the weekend - so this maybe ideal.

Very interesting. I'm looking for a Williams as a winter hack then to steadily restore it and keep it as a second car and something to tinker with.

Been getting silly quotes and £550 was the cheapest. I pay that for my Z4 Coupe!
