    Deffo a topic for CS.

You'd easily be able to arrange a test drive, it's probably only double the cost of you sorting your car to run at 13,000rpm too.

It's a good daily car, but definitely not a replacement for a Clio Williams. Engine has more torque in the midrange compared to 197, but it's not really a punch similar to Williams. Damping is nice and car is very fast in long corners, but this stability is reducing fun in the tight corners. Overall it gives a very "safe" feeling when driving. One thing that really impressed me were the brakes. This thing stops and not only that, it can do it again and again and again... Those Brembos are wonderful! Engine note is nice on the outside, especially in higher revs and gearchange is ok too, but maybe it could be better after 20 years of fine tuning.

Acceleration is somewhere in the range of a well looked after Williams, maybe it would be faster from 180 km/h on. Top speed is around 230 km/h, but you have to wait a little bit to get there.

I am willing to bed a large chunk of money that a good condition 990 kg williams can stop in a shorter distance than a 1250 kg clio 200.

It's not how fast, it's how many times. ;) And from my experiance it's more or less the same at lower speeds and 200 is better at higher speeds.

Nice cars, but feel a bit big to me, 172 is the perfect compromise between feeling nimble like a williams and feeling modern like an rs200 IMHO

    I agree with the above.
