Bought new by myself at the start of september 2009 and had very light use in my Mk1 track car for the past 2 years. It's been disconnected when not in use and maintained on a trickle charger the rest of the time, meaning it holds its charge perfectly.

Very effective weight saving in the engine bay, and makes a lot more room for different induction solutions. More than upto the job of running a mk1/172/182/197.
