    What BHP should I expect???

Hi all. Iv got a full S/S zorst from manifold back consisting of a Prowler 4-2-1 manifold/downpipe, decat, magnex system. With airbox mod and Gunner chip (7200 rev limit) Just wondered what sort of BHP it would be at? I'm guessing around 170-175??? What do you think? Oh the car is on 120000 miles now

150-160bhp probably on a sensible set of rollers if its working well, ie about 10% up on a standard engine of the same mileage.

Depends totally on what rolling road you go to though, they can easily vary by 20bhp.

Really to see the effect of the changes you should have put in on with and without the modifications.

I thought the Williams made 150bhp at the crank. So with these mods would make 20-25bhp more??? It's does feel a lot more lively and revs nice with the soft rev limit instead of the standard brick wall limit.

I had basically the same and got 152.2 or so. I think with the manifold you'll get a few more though. The Gunner chip with super unleaded will probably make more torque/bhp through the rev range though, not just the peak bhp.

    Will agree with the above.

Mine made 149 before cams /pulies/exhaust and remap

After on she made 176bhp and 180bhp.

However these are all on different rollers so realistically I'm expecting around 165ish.

Thought it would be more than that. I had a burn up with a Ford Focus ST (2.5 turbo) and there was nothing in it at all, I would have thought the focus would have beat me???

225 bhp, weight 10 metric tons! i could almost keep up with a focus sanitary towel in my 1.6 16v

170 bhp in something as light as a clio will be just as fast as a heavy car with more bhp.

tis all about power to weight

You would need cams and headwork to see 170-180 bhp.
