    Preservatives...

Does anyone regularly treat the underside of the car and chassis to a bit of wax oil treatment or rust inhibitor, or has done before? Keen to preserve the life of the old girl! I've started renting a garage to dry store the car, but I'd be keen on any thoughts to prolong the life of her. She's a lifer and will never be sold!!!

i've waxoyled bottom of mine every couple of years, main drawback is working on it as the underside is covered in waxy crap!lol!

seems to hold rust at bay though

Thanks Coops. Take it you just keep topping up with waxoyl gunge. Have you tried the product in an aerosol, or just a tin and sprayer?
