Speedo Problems

My speedo has just stopped working on my 16v with williams engine, anyone know why it would just stop? Is it run by cable so could of just snapped?

check the white plastic clip that fits onto the back of the clocks, aswell as the wiring,if it isnt that check the drive end that fits into the gearbox

To answer your question, yes it's driven by a cable from the gearbox to the back of the clocks
