    clunk on gear selection

    Hi

I have always had on my williams 2 a small clunk (sometimes) when I engage 1st gear from standing, I also have (again sometimes) a poor selection from 3rd gear to 4th gear.

My mate has a ph2 172 and also has this clunk but not the selection problem, hes says that I need a new "dog leg" engine mount as per link below:

Has anyone had this same problem? what was the solution? any help would be great.

    Many thanks

    Adam

Old and new dogbone mount. A badly worn one will produce gear selection issues:
