    1994 WILLIAMS 2

As mentioned in a previous thread,I am selling my Williams road car.Perfectly standard, save for the big bore stainless exhaust.
Brand new 12 months MOT,Brand new sills fitted,2 weeks ago.Air/Fuel/Oil filters changed, injector cleaner and oil.Full service history, mainly dealership done.
New rear discs fitted November 2010,cambelt done in 2009.
Not the nicest example,it is used as daily transport. All new parts fitted are 100% genuine Renault,.
I have n ebay at £1599,but accepting offers ~~ highest one was £1050 !!!!,need a bit more ~~ different car diesel awaiting my collection.
Prepared to break to major items ie engine/box and ancilleries and Rolling Shell.
Car can be viewed in Sunderland Monday ~ Friday and weekends in Lancashire.
    email me clio.rod61@googlemail.com or phone

    Bad Points,
    Wheels need a refurb.
Drivers seat needs a sewing repair.
    Outer plastic trim has faded
    Stone chips on Bonnet.

Should anyone purchase it,I will help them obtain Original Renault parts

    at a sensible price

    Must go asap.
    Rod

Oooh so close to me! I'm still saving though.

How many miles as I don't think you mention that in the post? Also, how easy is it to get the seat repaired?

    No rust?

    Hi John.
You would have thought so,but it aint sold.
I have decided to "split" it >>>NOT BREAK it.I will sell it in two bits, engine and box plus ancilleries, and the complete rolling shell.
    cheers Rod

I WAS very tempted Rod, but it's bad timing (getting married in 3 weeks) and I'd have to somehow sell the 172 inbetween!

    Latest on the car
For the first time since I owned the car and in over 120000 miles of motoring she let me down.About 35 miles from Sunderland, with alternator failure but more important the f**king Cobra alarn decoder "threw its hand in" ~~ :o :o (only found out last week)
    Upshot of this is
    Recon Alternator now fitted
Cobra alarm has gone to its maker ~~ replacement box and/or parts too expensive to replace
A professional motor electrictian has removed this, and it now relies on the key fob ~~ I hope that has cured it.
Car now fully legal with 6 months tax and 12 months MOT ~~ but still no interest from anyone.

Car now going at 10:30 ish Friday a very emotional day ,this car has been absoultely brilliant during the 13 years I have had it.
To name a few noticeable occurences.
    1) Return trips year on year and used for reccing on the Tour of Mull

    2) Several class awards on National B hillclimbs and Sprints
    3) Top 15 finish on a local road rally
    4) Lent it to the motor club to be Course opening Car on several of our clubs Road Rallies.
Been all over the country far and wide and the only thing needed was Petrol.
In the 118,000 ish miles I have done,NOTHING HAS EVER BROKE !!!!. (Until very recent ~~ alternator !!!)
Ah well such is life .If the new diesel is half as reliable etc it will be a f**kin good un.
