Top stuff Wobba.
Tell me what's the difference between AVO's and KW V2 in ride comfort?
Is KW comfortable suspension? I want something I can use on shit Croatia roads.

Hard to say. I not had the KW's long enough and they were set very low yesterday (raised them a bit last night) so were quite hard, plus the AVO's were running 350lb springs, so were hard.
I think if I raised the height and reduced the damping setting they would be fine for bad roads. They are not too bad at all as it is to be honest. They soak up bumps very well.
They have them helper springs, so for normal driving they soak up the minor bumps with the smaller set of springs.
I am loving them, cant wait to try them in hardcore mode :D
Dont helper springs fully compress when the car is on its wheels? Only used to stop the springs moving about when the car is in the air (mot failure?)
But yeah very jealous i want those tyres NOW :(
Thanks mate.Originally Posted by Wobba
Been looking at GAZ too, anyone has experience with them?
I wouldn't use base GAZ. The GAZ golds are supposed to be much better though, but also a fair bit more cash.
I spoke with Oreca-store in France about their Bilsteins forn the Williams, and they conformed that had a set of B14's in stock left over, which I didn't think they could do!

They are height adjustable only, but to be honest, some of the best suspension coilovers I've tried to date have been fixed damping and lets face it, Bilstein are a bloody good name.
bit of misused terminology. Proper helper springs do as Wobba said and give a softer spring rate for a small part of travel, however the very soft springs that commonly come with a fair number of coilovers is as you say purely there just to hold the spring in place. Can't quite tell which these have, but I suspect it's the latter.Originally Posted by Laine_16v
