Clio phase 1 and 2 door mouldings

HI all, im restoring the Dimma 4x4 cosworth and having a bit of trouble with the dealer. ordered 2 new doors but need the phase 1 bump strip the goes on the door. dealer recons that doors are the same for 1s and 2s but from years ago i remember trying to chance phase 1 trims to hase 2 trims and they wouldnt fit . im sure the door or something was different and i put phase 1 trims back on. dealer also says the trims they have are the big phase 2 ones ....i need the phase 1 trims but cant find any ... anyone know where i can get some or anyone selling any on here ?
need phase one mirrors and boot trims as well if anyone knows of any going.

doors are the same, clips for the trim are different iirc

thanks coops if the clips are different then how did they fit them ??? why can't they just sell me what i want. there is also no hinges on the doors . they want extra £45 a set..... sounds stupid when all the clio doors have welded on hinges that cant be taken off ?

hinges will mean doorpins and the copper sleeves to fit to the chassis side

the clips clip to the doors the same but the side that the mouldings clip to is different

Ph1 strips and the clips for them are different to Ph2 ones. You can get them off Mat Brown or a scrappy easy enough. There are clips that slot and twist on the body of the car, and also ones which you fit to the underside of the strips themselves.

What is being sold for £45 exactly? I've bought pins and door clips from main dealer and neither cost anywhere near that much.

they quoted me 39 +vat for the door moulding ? got any part numbers for phase 1 trim ?

Ahh no never bought the door moulding itself, always grabbed them off scrappy!

Hi mat, what number is for which trim ? do you have any good doors for sale or a cheap 16v for sale ? need loads of bits and would be cheaper to buy full car i think ?
