gear lever / rod keeps moving

since iv had my exhaust decated iv been having problems with reverse....found out the gear rod had been moved so i moved it bk and it was workin fine....now its moved back again slightly.....any ideas on how i can stop the gear rod moving out of place?

tighten the nut properly and use threadlock on it!

Not sure if its relevant... but have you checked the spring is still connected?

well iv only had a problem since the decat...think they yankd the rod out the way 2 fit my exhaust not sure though.....when i tuk it in 2 agarage the other day they ajusted gear ratio etc....didnt say anythin was wrong with it then.....

any ideas on how i can stop the rod from moved out of place agen?

when i first fitted my decat couldnt get the car in reverse. then i refitted it and it was fine so id assume it was the decat mate

its not actually knocking on the decat anymore, apart from when the rod falls out of place agen...if i bought a new rod would that stop it from faling out of place or do sum bolts just need tightening sumwhere?
