a fresh rebuilt jc5 may last a while longer, but no idea and not willing to risk half a grand plus to find out!

i had a brand new jb3 in it when i bought it, last owner fitted it, it lasted 6k miles in total and less than 2k after i put it to high boostm that was a 800 item from renault

I'm also very curious! There is a modification possible for under the 5th to strengthen the bearing housing...

And also one to re-enforce the diff

you name it, all of it!!

so far i've blown diff bearings, input shaft bearings and stripped gears straight off the shafts, ripping the teeth off the gear itself and the lay shaft its meshed too

only thing i've not done is crack the casing, which i'm fairly sure would happen if i 'strengthened' the bearings or put an LSD in

Sounds like it will be smart to just sell the f7r engine and continue with the c1j

What are the figures of dans car?

In the vid on santa pod his car seems to have quite some more power than yours.

You run cr 9:1 on skimmed pistons right?[/code]
