Boost is back!

Taxed the car today after she passed MOT yesterday................all i can say is damn its good to be back folks!!!

put a 'new' gearbox on it about two weeks ago as well, phase 1 172 box with 81k on it...........waste of space! diffs still noisey and input shaft still rattles..............bad as any other JC5 so after this season looks like i'm going to bite the bullet and get a box.......rebuilt!!!shock shock horror!!!

also as some may know i had some overheating issues last year, kept blowing coolant out! so after some head scratching and many tests on the engine itself i turned my attention to the cooling system insteand. newer header tank and cap........no difference..........new stat......no change there either.....new radiator (cheers mattyw)..............bingo!!!!!! touch wood jobs a carrot and my pikie boost build (come on everyone knows the bin bag and jet wash honing story by now surely?!) is still going strong into its 4th and soon to be 5th year

what was the issue with the rad? and did you go for a aluminium rad now or just a STD rad?

Pleased to hear the car is back up and running m8y! 0425 is still snug in the garage but it will be time to get him out soon - that pint is still calling!!
