This is the cleanest Williams (apart from Renault's one!) I've ever seen. Bodywork is immaculate; absolutely no rust at all, whatsoever, only a few very fine stone chips, one single tiny dent, no scrathes. Wheels are very original looking and unmarked and the interior is clean and original.

He's adament it hasn't had any paint and that the wheels are original, though it's been moped and polished by his mate who owns a paint shop. He's had it for 6 years and has had it serviced religiously at the same Renault specialist all that time.

Bad points - er, he's cut holes in the door card for some speakers, there's those tinted windows, and it's got a noisey Magnex exhaust on it

Won't take any less than £3500 for it though.

No pulling to one side, no hissing from the power steering, no suspension knocking, quiet and free-revving engine, brakes fine, sweet shifting gearbox, clutch not too heavy, oil temp just under 100 (even after a bit of abuse), oil pressure at 1 bar on tickover and 3 on normal driving. No overheating.

So, erm, I bought it :P
