Got some info from Kam Racing today. No prices as yet but this may give you some more re-assurance.

Thanks for getting back to me and sorry for pestering you. I'mjust keen toget these on my car. I have advertised a group buy over 4 sites Clio16Valver, Williamsclio, ClioSport and Retro-Renault. The threads have been up about 3 hours and i already have 8 people interested (price dependant). Would you be able to get prices for a group buy of 5, 10, 15 and 20 please.
Also a question has been asked by one of the guys. They are concerned as to what has been changed in the design to eliminate the problems that occured from the last group buy. Would it be possible to provide me a little statement and a few print screens of the CAD images to show wherethe alterations have been made. I think this will be the key factor to making this group buy sucessful for everyone including Kam Racing.

Hi Dan
The main problem was the top nut. Originally it only had a thread running at the top half of the nut. the new nut sits lower in the bearing and has it threaded all the way down.
That was the only thing really needed. This means it fits on the adjustable struts where the threaded part at the top is shorter.

i needed to machine my de carbon cup shocks to fit these ast topmounts.

What needs to be machined ?

difficult to explain... the wider area where the little ring is installed in for locking/installing the original top mount.

The thicker part underneeth the tread. Just machine that of.

the flaw was the top nut. it was damaging the topmount it self. This was fixed after some time.

so what problems are you having with the decarbons? Are you just saying that to get these to fit/work you need to machine part of the strut?
