    Bugger!

Just got the 1 back on the road, all insured, tax etc. Battery obviously flat, so went round with my many keys i have to open it up and take the battery out to charge it.....and none of the keys work in the boot, nor the drivers door FFS

Had to totally distroy the boot lock to get in..... oh well :(

Go find a mk1 in a scrappy & nick the boot lock - if there's a key with it obviously. That's what I've done, it just means I've got a seperate key for the boot

I wanna see pictures of LA's handy work breaking into her own car :D

You know if you had rung me, turned on your speaker phone and pointed it at the car I could have pressed my key fob and it would have opened it over the phone. It's rumoured to work.

My boot lock is solid too, has anyone tried taking the barrel out and wd40 /petrol wash them and squishing grease back in ? It worked on a citroen i had.
Wobba if you blip in one ear with your phone in the other, a la Clarkson it travels much further.

Not much use to you this time, but if you have one of those learning TV remotes then you can certainly 'record' it into that and use that in the future to open the car - I tried it many years ago!
