    oh dear look what ive found.

    have stripped my willy3 engine due to oil pump failure,ive got a mangled pump hand full of splines and just as i thought i had got away lightly ive found this hole!!! any ideas if i can get this repaired or do i need a new block?

    thats gonna be a new block matey. very much doubt that is fixable in any way.

    oil pump splines got jammed up against the casting and pop!! thats my best guess anyway

    they all dropped out from around the crank,smashed to bits.ive had the crank and head inspected they are ok,just this fooking hole shame for an 84k engine.will the megane f7r block be a straight swap?
