    Martin's clio????

I was thinking last about martins car last night and the thought entered my head, that it is a possibility that martins engine is an F7P not an F7R, if so this could explain a lot even with the cams etc, but could also be a load of rubbish, i think it's worth a look after all this money has been spent, mind you i think someone would have noticed this!

If it was a 1.8 then Martin would basically be running an old cup car (except his hasnt been blueprinted and has willy track and gearbox) in trms of power to weight ratio. Im sure a cup would get mid 14's on the 1/4 mile.

You should be able to tell if it is a 1.8 though as the torque and power delivery would be different from a Willy lump surely? I mean if it used to be a slow to pick up low down and then go mental at 4.5 like a 1.8 surely he would have noticed notice?
