the sensor i think it isthe one with 1 spade type connection that bolts on to the block, i got a t piece bit made for my turbo oil feed pipe and after trying two sensors it still doesnt work, the dial flicks up on ignition so it must be the sensor?

Switch is at the front and sensor is at the rear.

is the switch the oil level sensor? if so that works as i got a new one, its the one at the back that hooks up to the pressure gauge i beleive? or is there another one i dont know about

Yes, to the left of the level sensor is the oil warning switch.
