    172 makes its first trip

Well had it on road for few weeks now and other week got to stretch her legs for the first time, trip to girlfriends fatherland, Norfolk

good trip and car performed faultlessly and returned 47mpg average as well so more than happy on the long runs, and that was mostly A and B roads, no motorway so laughing!!

as for comparison, its a good drive, comfy and quick but so little feel in the steering and brakes compared to the mk 1 its mad, williams was much more involving to drive! maybe i just need more time to learn the car after so many years in mk 1's! either way its a great car as a daily and alot less stressful to run and maintain than the williams.....so far!

    Ben

was semi clean then, its not seen a rag since and wont till the winters been and gone, so await some hideously filthy pics of the car come february lol!!

Very Nice coops. I've always had a soft spot for the ph1 172's.My Brother has a W reg 172 with the the light alloy bonnet and shift change light on the dash. Does yours have that? Any plans for it?
