When does it do that? I have never only ever run it really low once, It almost got to the very bottom line but no light came on....

If your under half a tank it will start flashing...

So if your close to the line, slam it round a tight roundabout, if it doesnt come on, your bulbs either fudged or something else a little more serious is amiss.

I only ever saw my red light on the fuel tank once or twice in my 3.5 years of ownership. Has to be solidly on the bottom line. Then as others said, the light would flicker slightly.

Thanks for the reply guys. Mine never comes on when I turn on the ignition either. So it should come on when its at the very bottom line then? I have never run it that low before...
