    been doing some trawling DVLA

Been looking into the past of my XR3i cabriolet as i got hardly any history with it, and for a £5 fee to the DVLA i got some brilliant info back. in pprinted format i received back every logbook the car has had(when the owners changed) which obviously had the past owners address on. so i decided to write the the former owners of the car(long shot obviously) asking if they had any info/memories/pictures, and enclosed a stamped addressed envelope and email address and phone number. low and behold 1 day after i posted the letter i had a phonecall from the second owner who had a wealth of info for me(well hes gonna have after owning the car for 6 years).

i never knew the form to ask for information existed form V888 and all i said was that im going to be using the car for shows and want to get all the history together that i can...

think im going to send another one of for the williams!!

The dvla also sell your address to private parking companys so they can harass you with unpaid parking charges :(
