Right i fitted the pads this morning, ive never had performance brakes on a valver so this was new territory.

I have the 285mm Ktec disc conversion on standard callipers using £10 mintex brake pads, it worked fine no quarms.

SO anything back to the RC5's...

I didnt changing over the anti rattle clips from old pads to these so i just ran without. First impressions it feels just like a standard pad when stone cold, perfectly acceptable.

So i got onto some country roads and i actually couldnt believe how well the car was stopping, barely touch the pedal and you are stopping the car at considerable pace, press it further and you are going through the windscreen.

These are an absolutely fantastic fast road pad and i have no doubt they would be superb on track.

These pads are plain and simple brutal as ****. They arent noisy at all either.

10 out of 10, best £65 ive ever spent on brakes.

glad you like them buddy, remember where u got them from too

Just watch the dust doesnt eat into the wheels as some people have reported this over on cs

Carnt wait to get mine fitted, they will only ever see track use though so im expecting great things.

Lets hope i can get them as cheap as this next time we do a group buy

One thing i have noticed about these pads... they rattle like ****.

For some reason they dont have the little spring bits on top to hold the pad still.

When going over any sort of bump or just generally driving along it seriously sounds like the wheel is going to fall off, its not detremental to performance and its not going to fall out, it just sounds bad.

So im looking to retrofit those clips of my old pads to them somehow.

    Has anyone else found this?

Had a crack at this today, i got the clips off but couldnt remove the riveted part so scratched my head to think what i could use as a substititute.

M5 bolts and nuts with some threadlock with the old clips, job done
