go on catcams website for the spec and i wud get vernier pullies so you can time it up right. Also i aint that knowledgable on the subject so im going to shut up now and let someone that does know explain lol.
will want a rocker cover gasket, some camshaft seals, also maybe some sealant for the gasket as sometimes they dont last long, engine oil/filter and running in oil for the cams.
also vernier pulleys for the cams and obv remap after there in and set up
mine runs the catcam 225's/verniers and combined with manifold/decat/system/panel filter and proper remap(not some random chip! lol) made 176bhp/145lbft at RS tuning.
richy you got an F7p?
I'd think about replacing the lifters at the same time if your replacing the cams. Check the cam belt tensioner and guide bearings before reassembly

Some people like to apply sealant to the cam carriers as well ;)
On first start up with new cams etc you will experience a brief moment of very high wear rate on mechanical parts, so its best to use something like Graphogen paste, or if you are scrimping, oil engine oil on the lobes of the cams, prior to first start.
new cams should be run at 2000rpm and above for 20 minutes as soon as the car starts and not allowed to idle..
Yea, that too!Originally Posted by MAXIBOY
