    earth location for inside blowers

    hi, wondered if anyone could tell me where abouts the earth is located for the blowers. they have stopped working and i think it could be loose or rusty connection?? any help appreciated. thanks

    Check the plug under the scuttle panel.

    Theres a bolt and a bit of metal right next to the washer bottle under the scuttle with a single black wire coming from it, thats the earth for the blowers.

    Actually i think im wrong, thats for the wipers (or it could be both), i remember leaving it undone anyway and quite a few things stopped working.

    Best thing to do mate is to whip it out altogether...should only take you 20 mins or so. Bit tight as ever with almost everything on these flippin cars.

    Connect it directly to a 12v source (can use battery if you don't have a transformer) and see if it works. You then get access to all the connections and can also test the switch in the car too.

    Mine wasn't working so thought same, but after testing off the car it turns out the brushes are completely burned out.
