inc buying mine ive spent about 6k, but recently made 1k back on stuff ive sold off it, so about 5k give or take!
Looks like most of us aren't exactly on the minimum wage then!!

Thing is, there is only so far you can go, and once you have it to a standard you want you don't need to spend out on it any more, apart from servicing and the odd consumable.
mines pretty much done, got all the fun bits now, finishing touches etc that am adding like custom stickers and carbony bits mmmmmmmmmmm :D
mine probably owes me next to nothing, when my black car got writtan off i got paid out £1800, the white one cost me £700 then i jsut swapped bits and sold others, i have almost broken even on the unfinshed turbo build to (rods and pistons left to sell)
Too much money on a Clio worth £2k. But I suppose if you love it, you love it
between me and Gaz we must of spent an absolute fortune and only have 2 ITB clios and 2 standard valvers to show for it, i dont think about it if i can help it i may just have a little cry.
the feeling of loss is quickly gone as soon as i turn the keys though and i wouldnt have it any other way. am i mental?? **** YES :D
Haha yea you are mental! So am I, but it's what you enjoy and so therefore money and logic take a backseat But wait, you say, I dont have backseats! Well, in these cases money and logic simply get chucked out out of the window instead!Originally Posted by Clio-Girl
