    Death in pictures

    Some pics of this weekends work killing the hybrid,mixed feelings about this really,i know KUX is going to be good but still sad seeing the demise of the car that owes me 6yrs :(

    Drivers A pillar is twisted so lets water and wind in when driving

    Yeah the shell is in good condition,no rust in rear arches and sills are solid,not a lot of rust anywhere tbf but just that A pillar that spoilt it all :(

    how the hell did it end up with a twisted A piller? did the car have a smack at some point?

    Yeah it had a front drivers side shunt from a lowloader,hit the wing first,that buckled in as its plastic then the next thing it hit was the door/body/hinges area where it ripped the door in half before ****ing off into the distance without stopping.

    So maybe not just the pillar but somethings never been right with it,you can see it a bit in this pic,not very clear tbh but the gap is too big around the door then the top of the door sits too far away from the roof shell so lets rain and wind in,i had to pack it out with foam around the entire doors edge,got tired of doing this so scrapping it.

    That's really sad to hear :(

    Look's like a time consuming job as well, nothing more depressing!

    Pleased to see another Clio owner in bristol though
