Is it possible to identify Williams Ph1 and Ph2 ECU by number? I know both are 107 and Ph2 equipped with immobiliser. But is there any specific numbersequence between intermediate numbers on Ph1 or Ph2 ECU?

Williams dont have the immobiliser on the ECU ? unless they do abroad?
I have Williams Ph1 with genuine ECU (and no immobiliser). AFAIK I have standard ECU, no remapped or modified. The other Hungarian Ph1 Williams also haven't got immo. A friend of mine is just now trying to use a (probably) Ph2 Williams ECU in his Ph1 Valver (Williams b/e, Valver head) but he has some issues, the engine often stops after start. He would like to know whether his ECU is a Ph1 or Ph2.Originally Posted by Justin..
There should be no issue using that ECU in the car with that engine. I believe Ph1 Willy ECU's say 'FENIX' on them. Mine did. Maybe Ph2 do as well.
