    williams master cylinder

Hi guys, did try a search but only found loads about bigger calipers etc.
Can anyone tell me what the bore size is of the standard willy master cylinder as i need a new one.
GSF list 652PC0070 if you search renault/ clio/ hydraulic ,only one they do for clio. £36.30. when you search using that part no it says its for another car but tells you its 19mm.

    Is that the right size?
    Is GSF stuff ok?
Do they come with the O ring servo seal?

    Thanks Jock

    Bore size is 19.05 mm

If o-ring is needed part number from Renault is:

    77 01 026 873

At last count it was about £4.50 ex VAT

    The cylinder from Renault is

    77 01 205 094

Cost is about £90 ex VAT

Oh by the way. The master cylinder is the same for various makes and models. You'll find that GSF one also serves 205's, 106's, AX GT's and numerous Renaults so yes, if it says 19mm it will be the one you want and yes most GSF stuff I have bought has been totally fine.

    Thanks Wobba,
I'm desperate to get hold of m/c as mine is completely knackered (both circuits) and I cant get to renault very easily so looked at GSF. delivered.

Have got a car spares shop I can bus it to, but wanted to double check size and o-ring etc as can be a problem with willy knowledge there.

(When I was searching saw a brakes thread that seemed to suggest there was a 16v/willy option of 20.64mm m/c so was confusing, maybe twas for upgrade or ABS version.)

    Cheers.

PS was down your way with #0324 last july, went on a pilot cutter, didnt realise there were so many willies down there, when do you get yours back from Craig?

wobbalicious are you sure the 19mm is the right one for the williams? rang gsf today using the same part number as above (652PC0070) and they said it had a 19 on it.
however my williams cylinder has a 20 on it?

looks like it is 20,64mm for the williams master cylinder according to the ATE(oem) website. eurocarparts has bendix (which are the same as our rear calipers). there is also vemo and metelli which are the cheaper options. just to be different I think I will go for that metelli brake cylinder.
