dude i fixed a couple of alternators in my time and never had
problems yet . take the regulator out and see what the problem
is . if its the carbon brushes i can supply new ones for you to fit
or send the reg to me and i will replace them for you .

if its the slip rings worn to death ,its a bit more costly but
still worth a shot .

unfortunately sometimes OEM is the only option.... I didn't pay much different for my Renault one vs. one from GSF or Euro Car Parts.

WTF!? Gone already?? Get on the blower or recon it yourself as it should be good when it works being 90 amp.

yes mat its under warranty. im gonna get a genuine new one now, car just died so got RAC out and he tested it and it wasnt throwing any charge in at all, battery light wasnt even on....
