probably, unless the chip is tailor made it wont ever be right.
my black car made a .5 second diffrence over 1/4 mile with the gunnerchip (the only thing that was changed)

down to the raised limiter i expect.

Didn't have the wideband plugged in so couldn't record AFR.

Thinking about it I should have done a run with a STD Williams chip in,,, oh well!

Considering I see manufacturers of modded ECU's claim 10% hike for N/A cars....tests like this prove it all utter wank. My insurance co. thought I was full of shit when I said all these mods equate to an ABSOLUTE MAX of 10bhp increase.

Tbh, this megane block may be a more reliable unit and better pressure etc than my Willy but it felt like it was dragging its feet a little compared to my Willy engine (just before it blew up )
