    Rust on windscreen pillars

Bubbling apparent on nearside top corner of windscreen pillar, I assume to remove the trim around the screen can only be incorporated in a screen change? Dont want to have to kill another but this concerns me that it will be pricey to rectify?

No doubt problem stems from when windscreen was replaced at some stage. Why dont they at least seal the scratch marks when they replace the screens!

aye, unfortunately trim cannot be replaced independently of the screen...

i bought the screen from renault as i wanted the renault stamp in the glass - the seal was provided and fitted by RAC

Could you not get the glass out with damaging it, clean the old sealant off and just have someone round to fit new seal, old screen when the work is done?

This would be my intention but in case it breaks on removal I am just weighing up worst case scenario!

As with any venture on a williams I try to budget for worst case!
