Why do they rot so badly in that little well below the passenger side headlight? Seems a common place?
Mine has shown little signs down there. Definately seems a place to address for protection.

Jan took really good care of it too. He took me out on track in it and wouldn't go more than 6k! Ohh well.

i dont mate no but i'm breaking a williams 3 currently which i think has the williams kick plates on it, i will send you pics when i strip the car at easter in a week and a half
think it was on 5 previous owners when i bought it, 0062, i cant really remember now to be honest.
that rust was a one off, never seen it before or since, 0199 is mint there, as is the turbo and my old valver, 0062 was randomly rotten there, rest was pretty solid tbh bar scabby arches and sills, not full rot, just scabby
