PAS pump

Mine whines. Gunner suggested that a turn the wheels with cap off and engine off and then again with cap off and engine on.

I will try this, but if it doesnt cure the whine, i am guessing i could cure it with a new PAS pump. Anyone had one of these fitted, and if so did it cure the problem?

Are they difficult to change over? And what price are they?

try new fluid first. mine was like that on the valver and i changed the fluid. the stuff that cam out was like water!! only took 5 mins, and it made a world of difference

Whats the method for draining the fluid out of the PAS pump then?

There's a bottom hose I think. I assume you just undo that.

The Kermanators just had Forte stuff put in.

I've got a bottle of Slick 50 PAS fluid waiting to go in.
