Whats the best diam for a full race / rally system ?

entirely depends on the car/engine setup really, but for n/a i think 2 1/4" is favourable

230bhp ITB engine, what where the group a rally cars ? 2.5" ?

well a 2.5" system is all i'll ever need on the turbo i believe, should flow no problem upto 400bhp

no idea on rally cars am afraid mate

I gained 20bhp from changing my previous system from 2" to 2,5" - and of course a remap. (before the ITB's)

You will see gains! - when mapping they can alter the ignition timing (advance it i guess).. Thats what they did on mine. He said the engine was struggeling to get rid of the gasses because of the small diameter exhaust. Torque was greatly improved as well in the entire range. Unffortunately i have no print out but it went from 178bhp to 198bhp.

Does anybody have any experience with an Oreca system? Looks like quite a good buy for the rally car.
